Tranquility Baking and Tea Room
Seven years ago, Candra Coogan began a baking business with a desire to help a local charity. She began delivering cheesecakes dressed in Victorian attire and donated 10% of her sales. Her business grew into a successful catering and baking business specializing in tea parties, and in December she took the next step, opening Tranquility Tea Room on Thousand Oaks Boulevard. This lovely, antique filled room is the perfect place to enjoy Candra's wonderful baked goods, tea sandwiches and fine teas. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just wish to enjoy a relaxing afternoon with someone special, Tranquility Tea Room will transport you to a time of warm, simple pleasures.

Candra Coogan, proprietress of Tranquility Baking Company, provided everything I needed to throw a Brial Shower Tea Party for my niece. She arrived promptly with every little detail covered - sugar cubes, honey stix, tranquility cream, lemon curd - you name it, it was not overlooked. The tea selection was incredible too. The scones, tea sandwiches and desserts were so fresh and delicious we all overate instead of passing anything up. I'm looking forward to the next event I host so that I can avail myself of her services again!
